Where land fits

Domestic pickup / delivery: Factory or warehouse to port, airport, or consolidation point.
Cross-border road / rail bridge: Corridors where land DG rules (e.g. ADR where applicable) and border formalities allow battery cargo.
Multimodal legs: Connecting sea or air mains with compliant road hauls.

What differs from air/sea

Land rules, permits, and carrier acceptance vary by country and route. Classification (batteries alone vs in/with equipment) still drives packing and paperwork. Destination confirmation remains essential.

Courier note

For small eligible parcels, courier/express programs may be an alternative to full road freight. Ask on the quote form if you prefer express — acceptance depends on the carrier’s battery policy.

Changing from air or sea to land does not remove the need to understand classification, packing and shipment condition.
